Best Products to Look After Your New Piercing

Did you just get a new piercing, and are looking for the best way to take care of it? We are here to help with the very best products and three step care routine to get the most our of your new piercing.
Sterilear Step 1: Clean Piercing Spray
For the first two weeks after you have been pierced, you should be using your Sterilear Step1: Clean Piercing Spray twice daily. Clean is our first step in looking after your piercing and has been formulated for the initial healing spray.
Sterilear Step1: Clean is formulated with the optimal concentration of salts to promote healing. It is a sterile solution helps prevent bacteria from forming around the piercing. Spraying Sterilear Step 1: Clean helps to safely clean and wash away dried discharge from the piercing, whilst simultaneously heal and calm the skin.
To use: Spray front and back twice a day, directly over the piercing and jewellery. Not for oral use. External use only.
Sterilear Step 2: Care Piercing Spray
From week 3 onwards, it is time to move over to our second piercing aftercare step, Sterilear Step 2: Care Piercing Spray. Care is the perfect spray to keep infections at bay and use while the piercing is not at the initial healing spray.
Sterilear Step 2: Care Piercing Spray is an enhanced formula enriched with aloe vera, lavender & vitamin E to soothe the skin & promote healing. The spray contains peppermint oil to provide anti-inflammatory & anti-fungal benefits.
To use: Spray front and back twice a day directly over the piercing and jewellery. Avoid eye contact. Not for oral use. External use only.
Our third and final step in our piercing aftercare system is our Sterilear Bump Dots! These adhesive hydrocolloid protective bandages suck fluid and gunk from the bump. Wear them over your jewellery at night to reduce redness and swelling. We love these for the helix, and nose – areas sensitive to piercing bumps. Bump Dots double as great for pimples and any other fluid-filled bumps on the skin.
To use: simple cut a slit in the bump dot to securely fit around the piercing. Leave on overnight, and remove carefully without pulling at the jewellery.
Our three step Sterilear aftercare system has been designed to provide optimum healing for ear & body piercings for the first month after your piercing appointment and can be used throughout the healing process as needed.
